Dining

The fully licensed bar and restaurant offers friendly service for residents or parties of up to 50 people alike. Using the local produce and only the freshest of ingredients, the chefs provide a superb variety of home style cuisine. From delicious light snacks to a full three course evening meal the choice is yours.

Our restaurant is also available to hire for group bookings, events or social gatherings in the evenings and weekends. Menus can be tailor made to suit your needs whether it is for residential dining or banqueting.

To Begin

  • Fine Sliced Smoked Salmon served with Lemon Salad & Brown Bread
  • Deep Fried Breaded Brie served with a Salad Garnish and Cranberry Dressing (V)
  • Homemade Soup of the Day
  • Mussels in a Rich Portuguese Sauce (Tomatoes, Peppers and Onions)
  • Grilled Open Cup Mushrooms stuffed with Stilton and Bacon (V without bacon)

For Main Course

  • Chicken & Bacon Caesar style salad (strips of sautéed Chicken, Bacon & Cos lettuce)
  • Penne Pasta with Chicken and Mushrooms in creamy white wine sauce accompanied by Garlic Bread
  • Large Fajitas style Mexican Wrap filled with Peppers and Beef or Chicken, served with a Green Salad, Nachos, Guacamole & Sour Cream (V also available)
  • Beef & Mushroom Vegetable Stir-Fry in Black Bean Sauce with Rice & Prawn Crackers (V without beef)
  • Ham, Double Egg & Chips
  • Smoked Haddock and Spring Onion Fishcakes topped with a Rich Cheese Sauce
  • 8oz Sirloin Steak with Tomato, Mushrooms and Onion Rings
  • 8oz Sirloin topped with Garlic Mushrooms or Peppercorn Sauce

  • Fresh thin green noodles with ham au gratin
  • Thai marinated smoked salmon on a coriander and sesame egg noodle timbale with sweet chilli oil
  • Cotswold cobb salad - lettuce, tomatoes, rocket, avocado & fennel with an olive oil and lemon dressing (V)

Main Courses

  • Beef madras served with poppadums, sambals and our own freshly made onion bhajis
  • Baked escalope of salmon served on a bed of minted spinach braised potato and pan-fried spring onions with a shellfish sauce
  • Slow roasted leg of lamb studded with garlic and served on chive mash with a redcurrant and rosemary jus
  • Pan fried mushroom and risotto cakes with basil and pepper coulis served on a wilted spinach salad (V)

Desserts

  • Our own rich American style baked cheesecake served with cherry compote
  • Lemon tart with strawberry mascarpone
  • Chocolate and brandy Bakewell with a chocolate and almond cream
